ein alter verwitterter teil eines baumstammes
wenn ich es in bronze giessen würde, würde es leicht akzeptiert als ein 'kunstwerk' - aber es wäre nicht mehr das original, nur eine kopie - ein duplikat - ein 'abbild' - ein anderes material - andere tatsache -
was ist jetzt wichtiger, das abbild - die kopie oder das original?!
was gibt uns mehr information, was ist mehr zur sache: es ist klar, ich bevorzuge das original, es ist die wahrheit. und es gibt die antwort, wenn du noch dem ästhetischen* wert fragst: das ist es warum es geht in der kunst.
und, dies ist es. ich kann titel geben - indikationen, z.b. 'chance & change' oder 'document of a stream', aber vorsicht titel sind auch einschränkungen, sie kommen von einem gesichtspunkt.

kommt vom griechischen aisthétikós: wahrnehmbar und von aisthánesthai: wahrnehmen. so wurde im 18. jh. in der philosophie der wahrheit der sinnlichen erfahrung derselbe wert wie der vernunft zuerkannt.

if i have this made in bronze it will be easily accepted as a 'work of art' - but it would be no more the original - but a copy, a duplicate, an 'image' only, another material, another fact. what is now more important, the 'image', the copy or the original?! what gives us more information, what is more 'to the fact'. it is clear, i prefer the original, it is the truth and it gives the answer if you ask after the esthetic* value. this is it where art is about.
and, this is it i can give titles, indications, p.e. 'chance & change' or 'document of a stream', but attention: titles are also intellectual limitations coming from the point of view.
* esthetic comes from greek aisthétikós: perception and from aisthánesthai: perceive (in german wahrnehmen: taking truth). so became in the 18th century the truth {german: wahr) of the experience of the senses the same value as reason.
