| comment: | in his list of works herman de vries gave this design number 'v68-156'
Alexander Baier founded his gallery for modern art in Mainz in 1961. From 1964 until the 1980s, he was the publisher and editor of the magazine Magazin Kunst. Das deutschsprachige Kunstmagazin. From 1962 to 1968, he published monthly original prints by contemporary artists for the gallery's collectors' circle. In keeping with the spirit of the times, their low prices made modern art affordable for a broader public. The design by herman de vries seems not to be realized. |
