comment: cover for Vers-univers. Tijdschrift voor (evolutieve) poëzie (January 1967). The magazine was published in an edition of 250.
Vers-univers was a magazine for (evolutionary) poetry that appeared in 6 issues from May 1966 to September 1967. The magazine was founded by the poet Frans Vanderlinde and originally focused on spatialism, later renamed to a more inclusive term: 'evolutieve poëzie'. This term stands for poetry that is constantly evolving and includes, among other things, concrete, visual, auditory, and audiovisual poetry. In addition to Frans Vanderlinde, the editorial team consisted of Paul De Vree, Pierre Garnier and Ian Hamilton Finlay.
