- In the 1960s Boezem started non-material works, sculptures, spatial objects and works in public space. It was the time that artists opposed to art that was outside society and based on craftsmanship. Like a businessman he carried his proposals in a briefcase and travelled to museums and galleries to sell them. At that time Boezem exhibited part of a polder as a 'ready made', presenting himself as a 'conceptual' artist. 'Land Art' and Cartography also played a role.
- In 1968 Boezem participated in two important exhibitions of innovative art: 'Op losse Schroeven', Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and 'When Attitudes Become Form', Kunsthalle Bern (CH). Here Boezem's work was shown alongside that of Carl Andre, Joseph Beuys, Richard Serra, Richard Long, Lawrence Weiner and others.
- Apart from those mentioned afore, Boezem showed in museums world wide, such as Museum of Modern Art, New York, Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven, Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago and the Royal Institute of British Architects, London.
